So Vee mentioned she was doing a Jack of Jamaica and I held on to the secret for what felt like FOREVER. But now it's time and I am so excited!! Jamaica is one of my favorite artists and I could not wait to play along...w/ some Fisheye shots from San Francisco, of course.

It has finally gotten a little bit chilly here (Um, hello Global Warming!) and we're commencing in typical Fall activities...The Pumpkin Ale at John Harvards:

No plans for parties or costumes, but then, who needs a costume when you play dress up every other Sunday with Amish and or Kyle??? I haven't purchased the lobster costume for Chloe (available at Target!) but I might go check it out in a few days and see if it's on clearance. Cause Chloe could seriously rock the Rock Lobster! With all of this fall activity abound, I have been on the computer through iphone only...which is not conducive to writing back to more than 3 emails at a time...so I am going to just come out with it:

I can't keep up.

I have received so many emails in the last few weeks and I simply can't write back to everyone. The majority of them were in reference to CK and hof and of the "hell yeah!" variety...and THANK YOU. I am so comforted by them and appreciate them all...but since I am realigning my priorities lately, being on the computer is not one of them, and the time I am on here is brief. Plus I will be honest, when I am on, I am looking at JCrew.com it's sad but true ;) So if you are waiting on a response from me and have not gotten one, PLEASE write again. I appreciate it.

Macking in the Meatpacking

Totally amazing happy mails from Steph the other day...I seriously love these lil guys and the other goodies as well. Made my freaking day. And Katie also gave me something to smile about...that typewriter card was off the chain!!! Thanks girls. Love.

This is on one of the freezers at work. I think it's magnetic poetry Office style, but it is hysterical b/c Anton is our friend that used to work at the MoMA. And he would SO be the one to call when it's not a drill.

A new art journal to play with. It's a Bambi board book I picked up at Borders and then covered with gesso and paint and ink.

Brought it up to Canada and then of course when I opened it half the paint bits were stuck to each other and not the pages. But I am kinda liking that look. Layering and working and going with the flow.

And finally, Natalie, Morgan, Chloe and I macking in the Meatpacking. Hahahaha. Little did we know as we were taking this photo Serena and Dan were making out but a few yards away. Man do I love the GG. Totally proud of Morgan for eating Escargot and Patte and Oysters!! J makes people eat, I tell ya. After dinner Natalie went to meet up with her pops and then Morgan, J and I snuck Chloe into the Waldorf and watched Heroes. Now J keeps telling everyone "I watched Heroes in the Waldorf Astoria!" of course making fun of us. But whatever. Gotta watch our shows, ya know what I'm sayin????

Transformers, Jenna Jameson and Magic Hat

Morgan came over last night and rolled up with a case of Magic Hat and we watched Transformers....followed by a trip to Parsnip and a game of Photo Hunt that involved Jenna Jameson and multiple high scores.

Today we scrapped a bit and are heading to the city to eat with Natalie and Nicole. Something tells me an expensive handbag purchase may be in order...please stop me. please.

Loveburger

After catching the tail end of the Salt and Peppa show last night (I missed the beginning, but I need to know, where is Spin!?) we were flipping through the channels and The Knack was performing My Sherona... and J goes "Is that Loveburger????" which cracked me up not b/c it really looked like them but that I knew exactly what he was talking about.

So today Lu posted my challenge for Art Slam and I noticed there' s another classic movie quote on one of my cards:

so...to whomever correctly guesses what movie that quote is from (on the top left) will be entered into a drawing for a random box o goodies!! It's not quite 40lbs like last time, but it is easily 20. So leave your answer in the comments and I will pick a winner tomorrow.
